Abdul Ladha Scholarship

Offered to a student entering the Science One Program from a B.C. secondary school, with preference given to a student from King George Secondary School in Vancouver and then to a student from any secondary school in the Burnaby School District. An additional scholarship of may be offered in some years, without geographic restriction, to any student entering Science One from secondary school. The awards are made on the recommendation of the Director of Science One.
Janusz J. Klawe Memorial Science One Scholarship

Offered to an undergraduate student entering the Science One Program in the Faculty of Science and made on the recommendation of the Director of Science One. In memory of Janusz J. Klawe by Maria Klawe, other family members and friends.
Arthur Whitehead Memorial Science One Achievement Scholarship

Endowed in memory of Arthur Whitehead for outstanding students entering the Science One Program. The award is made on the recommendation of the Science One teaching team in consultation with the Director of the program.

Michael Rust-Smith Science One Memorial Scholarship

Offered to an outstanding student who has completed the Science One Program. Preference is given to a student who has embraced the philosophy of Science One, where intellectual growth comes through the expression of creativity and an inquisitive mind; and who has demonstrated a passion for the natural sciences. High academic standing commensurate with a scholarship is expected, but is not the primary criterion for this award. The award is made on the recommendation of the Science One teaching team in consultation with the Director of the Science One Program. A $1,000 scholarship has been endowed by the family and friends of Michael Rust-Smith, a Science One student who lived a full and joyous life, and who was fascinated by science and the natural world.
Larry Roberts Science One Memorial Scholarship

Made on the recommendation of the Science One teaching team in consultation with the Director of the Science One Program. Preference is given to candidates who have achieved high academic standing and who have embraced the philosophy of the Science One Program, where intellectual growth comes through the expression of creativity and an inquisitive mind. Endowed by family and friends in memory of Larry Roberts for outstanding students who have completed the Science One Program.
